HIGH QUALITY RINGS FOR MEN
Rings are always on display and, especially for men, they are an instant eye-catcher. They can say a lot about the wearer. That's why we've grown and continue to grow our range of rings for men. Our range includes fine ring materials such as surgical steel and titanium, but also tungsten and ceramic.
WHAT KIND OF RING FOR A MAN?
Rings for men vary a lot in terms of style. It's always about the wearer and their needs and how the ring fits stylistically into the overall design.
There are traditional narrow and wider rings and more modern rings with patterns and embellishments. The showier and more massive wedding rings are also a very masculine choice for a finger.
STEEL STANDARD
Strong stainless steel is made of iron, carbon and chrome. Stainless steel is widely used for everything from kitchen utensils to car parts. The quality of steel varies widely depending on its intended use. At Ninja, we use the highest quality 316L steel, known as surgical steel, in our jewellery.
Steel is the most popular material for men's rings. Its durability, strength and price make it a very desirable ring for the customer. Our range includes steel coloured rings, gold plated steel rings and black coloured steel rings where the colour is coated on the steel.
TITANIUM RING
Titanium is close to steel in appearance, slightly greyer in colour and much lighter. It is a relatively new material for rings and jewellery in general. Like steel, there are different grades of titanium. Titanium is made in two grades: 90% pure titanium and 99.2% pure titanium. We only use this 99.2% pure titanium in our jewellery.
Titanium is a very strong material compared to steel and does not scratch easily. It is very difficult to scratch compared to steel, for example. Titanium is a hypoallergenic material, which means that it does not react with the skin. This makes titanium the perfect material for people who are very allergic to different metals.
WHAT IS THE RIGHT RING SIZE FOR A MAN?
The eternal challenge is to find the right size ring without fitting. At Ninja, we use millimetres as the unit of measurement for rings and indicate the ring size as the diameter of the ring. The diameter of the ring is measured from the inner surfaces of the ring.
The size of the ring is greatly influenced by the finger chosen, the width of the ring and the inner surface of the ring. A small margin of error is found in the finger chosen. If the ring is too big for the middle finger, the ring will most likely work on the index finger. If the ring is too small for the middle finger then it will probably fit an anonymous or small finger.
How to choose the right ring size?
Choosing the right ring size is important to ensure that the ring fits comfortably and is pleasant to wear every day. The ring should be tight enough to stay in place, but loose enough to be easily removed from the finger. Finger size can vary depending on the time of day, temperature, and other factors, so it is important to measure carefully.
Measuring ring size from your finger
There are various measuring tools available for measuring ring and finger size, but you can also measure them yourself at home. Below, we present three ways to measure your finger size, with a particular recommendation to use a ring sizer for the best accuracy.
1. Using a ring sizer
When measuring the diameter of your finger, it is best to use a measuring tool that corresponds to the width of the ring. You can use a string or a piece of paper cut to size, or order a free ring sizer from our online store. However, remember that the ring must fit over the knuckle. One practical way to measure the thickness of your finger with a traditional measuring tape is to measure the thickest part of your finger.
Here's how to use a ring sizer:
- Thread one end of the ring sizer through the loop at the other end and pull.
- Place the ring sizer on your finger and tighten it so that it is snug but comfortable.
- Adjust the ring sizer so that it just fits over your knuckles. Remember that the ring should go over your knuckles.
- Once you have adjusted the ring sizer, read the ring size from the scale on the ring sizer. The measurement scale is in US sizes.
- See the corresponding size in the table on our website.
2. Measuring the thickest part of your finger (diameter)
. Using string or paper to measure (circumference)
You can also measure the circumference of your finger using string or a strip of paper. Gently wrap the string or paper around the thickest part of your finger (usually at the joint) and mark the point where the string or paper meets itself. Measure the marked section with a ruler in millimeters. This measurement corresponds to the circumference of your ring. Please note that this method may be slightly less accurate, so it is advisable to repeat the measurement a few times.
Tips for measuring
- Measure your finger several times at different times of the day. Fingers can swell during the day, so measuring both in the morning and in the evening will give you a more accurate result.
- Avoid measuring with cold hands. Cold can cause your fingers to shrink, resulting in an undersized ring.
- Consider the width of the ring. Wider rings may require a larger size for comfort.
